Inspire, Energize & Amplify Teen Climate Action

Teens Take On Climate supports youth to advance climate justice through experiential learning, employment, and engagement in their communities.

Climate for a lifetime

Teens Take On Climate’s vision is to build a welcoming and inclusive community as diverse as the earth where young people’s values, identities and skills inspire collaborative climate action for all ages.

Bringing Teens Together Through Climate

  • Raising climate literacy through hands-on fun

Teens participate in activities to learn about climate and make connections to their personal and collective futures. By connecting with nature teens explore how climate impacts their lives.

  • Building life & climate skills

Teens develop positive youth development skills in tandem with a growing awareness of how climate impacts can lead to career opportunities.

  • Expanding climate opportunities

Teens will connect with climate leaders and peers to amplify their voices, exchange ideas, and generate collective strategies and actions to take on climate.

  • Accelerating climate careers & employment

Teens gain in-demand skills and experience through on-the-job training, apprenticeships, vocational schools, technical certifications, colleges, the military, and internships.

Our community is as diverse as the earth.

Young people’s values, perspectives & skills will catalyze sustainable & intergenerational climate action.

Our community is built on teens working with climate leaders and organizations committed to diversity, equity and inclusion to fight climate change and develop resilient futures.

We bring climate to life for teens by connecting to their passions.

Partnerships are the key to the greatest impact on climate.

We collaborate with partners to provide climate programs for teens and teen-serving organizations.

Programs include field trips, outdoor recreation, community projects, guest speakers, plus career exploration and jobs.

In addition to providing our own programs, Teens Take On Climate welcomes the opportunity to connect with partners to provide teens with educational and career resources, experiences and opportunities.
